South Africans have THE COOLEST accents around. I met this one on Match.com and he was a cutie. Over cappucino I learned that he was an ex professional cyclist. A divorcee with twins in their ‘tweens plus a third, he moved to SoFlo for his ex wife.

He had an interesting profession–he made prosthetic dental implants and worked in a lab all day. He could’ve been a garbage collector for all I cared. Whatever he said with his sexy accent sounded amazing to my ears. We first met for coffee and then had dinner the following week. I learned all about rooibos tea that comes from his neck of the woods along with the amount of time he spent training to be a cyclist while he was in college. I had a feeling I wouldn’t hear from him about going out again. He had so much on his plate with his three kids. It’s just as well…..that accent was a danger zone for me!
